Shelter is provided to victims of crime, their dependent children, other family, and friends.

 

  

Individual and group counseling is provided to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crime.

 

  

Advocacy and accompaniment is provided to all victims of crime.

 

  

Assistance is offered to victims seeking crime victim compensation.

Volunteering at the Alice Paul House

To become a volunteer at the Alice Paul House, a person must complete an intense 80-hour training that meets the requirements of, and is approved by, the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape, and Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.  The primary role of the volunteer within the program is to offer support and information to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes.  If you are interested in being a volunteer, please call the volunteer coordinator at 724-349-4444.
