The Alice Paul House is always looking for new volunteers!

 

Alice Paul House Volunteers:

·        Provide 24-hour access to the emergency shelter and crisis hot-line

·        Accompany crime victims through the medical and legal processes, including:

o       Obtaining Protection From Abuse orders

o       Hospital advocacy or other medical appointments

o       Juvenile court proceedings

o       Preventative education

·        Interact with residents in emergency shelter

·        Assist with child care

·        Support the work of the organization through community events, fund-raising efforts, and public relations opportunities

·        Empower domestic violence, sexual assault and other crime victims to help themselves

 

Alice Paul House Volunteers are:
